The St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) has unveiled plans for a state-of-the-art facility at the National Bank Group of Companies SKNFA Technical Center in St. Peters. The announcement was made by SKNFA President Atiba Harris during a recent press conference.

The new facility will be located on the eastern end of the Technical Centre and will include several modern football amenities aimed at enhancing the infrastructure and overall experience at the venue.

"We'll start with the Technical Centre where we intend to continue the infrastructure development. On the far eastern side, we'll start construction of the amenities building, which will host multiple locker rooms, a changing room for referees, media rooms for press conferences, and other essential facilities," Harris stated.

The facility will also feature a grandstand with seating for fans, a VIP area, and additional shelter to improve the matchday experience. "We have bleachers, a VIP area to enhance the atmosphere here at the Technical Centre," Harris added.

In addition to infrastructure developments, the SKNFA continues to provide opportunities for local players to secure contracts with international clubs. Harris highlighted the recent success of Senior National Team player Tiquanny Williams, who earned a two-and-a-half-year contract with a professional club in Kosovo after a successful trial.

Furthermore, two other promising players, Gabriel Vanterpool and Kai Trotman, have secured trials in Estonia and Atlanta, respectively. These opportunities align with the SKNFA's broader mission to develop and promote local football talent on the international stage.

The construction of this new facility marks a significant step forward for football in St. Kitts and Nevis, providing world-class infrastructure to support player development, training, and professional opportunities.
