Jamaica Under-17 midfielder Jahmarie Nolan made history on Friday during Toronto FC II’s 1-2 defeat at the hands of Chattanooga FC in their MLS NEXT Pro game at the York Lions Stadium in Toronto.
The former Mount Pleasant Academy standout got his first goal for the club since his move from the Jamaica Premier League table toppers in March, becoming the club’s youngest ever goal scorer at just 15-years-old.
Nolan’s goal came in the 88th minute but his side were unable to overhaul the two-goal lead Chattanooga built through strikes from Peter Plougmand in the 11th minute and Min-jae Kwak in the 44th minute.
