Waterhouse FC has hailed the upcoming participation of its Under-16 team in the prestigious Inter Miami Dreams Cup as a significant step forward in its ongoing commitment to youth development and international exposure.

The team is set to depart on Tuesday for the tournament, which takes place May 23–26, 2025, at the Florida Training Centre in the United States.

In a statement, the club emphasized that the opportunity reflects its broader mission of creating pathways for young footballers to develop their talent, gain global experience, and compete at elite levels.

"Waterhouse FC remains committed to youth development and international engagement through football. This opportunity underscores our ongoing efforts to create pathways for young talent to grow, learn, and compete on the world stage," the club stated.

The Inter Miami Dreams Cup brings together top youth teams from around the globe, providing a high-level platform for competition and visibility. For Waterhouse’s young players, the experience promises not only valuable match play but also the chance to test themselves against some of the brightest prospects in international youth football.

The club also expressed gratitude to the key sponsors who made the trip possible.

"We would like to give special mention and sincere thanks to our main youth programme sponsors, Tankweld Metals, Dairy Industries Jamaica Limited, and Fesco, whose support played a crucial role in making this trip a reality. Their commitment to youth development and community engagement made all the difference," the statement noted.

"We extend best wishes to our Under-16 team for a successful tournament and look forward to their safe return and the sharing of their experiences with the wider football community," it ended.
