Cavalier FC delivered a ruthless attacking display on Saturday, hammering Real Mobay 9-0 in the Jamaica Women’s Premier League (JWPL), while Frazsiers Whip kept their perfect start to the season intact with a dramatic late win over Arnett Gardens.

Jynell Graham led the demolition for Cavalier, netting a hat-trick with goals in the 1st, 16th, and 56th minutes. She was ably supported by Tamara O’Sullivan, who bagged a brace (19th, 74th), while Shadie Shirley (38th), Shanel Spence (53rd, 65th), and Jhenell Williams (90th) completed the rout. The result sent a clear message to the rest of the league, as Cavalier bounced back in dominant fashion to reaffirm their championship credentials.

Meanwhile, at the top of the table, Frazsiers Whip maintained their perfect start to the campaign, edging Arnett Gardens 2-1 in a tightly contested match. Briana Crosby gave Arnett a 29th-minute lead, but Ricquanna Richards pulled Frazsiers level just before the break. With the game heading for a draw, Davia Richards popped up in stoppage time (90+1) to snatch all three points and keep Frazsiers unbeaten.

Elsewhere, Springers SC picked up a solid 4-2 win over Proven Girls in a goal-filled encounter. Keshara Bailey (3rd), Jamelia Hines (32nd), Fredricka Finnekin (59th), and Chiara Thompson (68th) were all on target for Springers. Proven fought back with goals from Brianna Smith (49th) and Tassi-Ann Dacies (90th), but it wasn’t enough to overturn the deficit.

UWI secured a 2-1 comeback victory against Federal United. Africke Beckford opened the scoring for Federal in the 11th minute, but UWI responded with two quickfire goals in first-half stoppage time through Daniesha Hall (45+1) and Imauny Linton (45+2) to seal the win.

In the day’s other match, Wi-Fi FC and Mile Gully played out a goalless draw.
