Head of Coaching at the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF), Andrew Peart, has been appointed to the Concacaf Coach Education Panel (CEP), a distinguished group of technical experts responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the Concacaf Coaching Convention.

The Federation made the announcement in a release on Saturday.

The Convention serves as the Confederation’s regulatory framework for establishing minimum standards in coach education across North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.

“Coach education is one of the most powerful investments we can make in the future of football in our region,” said Concacaf President and FIFA Vice President Victor Montagliani.

“We congratulate Andrew Peart on this well-deserved appointment and look forward to their valuable contributions in advancing coach education and shaping the next generation of football leaders across the region.”

"I am deeply honored to be appointed to the Concacaf Coach Education Panel and would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all the persons who would have supported me on the journey,” Peart said reacting to the appointment.

“As a member of the Concacaf Coach Education Panel, I have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of coaches across our region. I look forward to collaborating with my fellow panel members and working closely with Member Associations to elevate coaching standards across Concacaf,” he added.

Andrew Peart recently joined fellow panel members, returning experts, and technical leaders at the 2025 Concacaf Coach Education Panel Workshop and Meeting, held in Kingston, Jamaica from April 25 – 27.

The three-day workshop marked a key step in strengthening the implementation of the Coaching Convention, aligning the evaluation processes and enhancing the overall quality, accessibility, and consistency of coach education throughout the region.

Participants engaged in sessions on core CEP responsibilities, including the application and audit process, desk and site evaluations, and content alignment for the Concacaf C, B, A and Pro Diplomas.

The group also conducted on-site assessments of the Jamaica Football Federation’s C License course—reviewing both theory and practical components—to reinforce audit standards and best practices.

The event concluded with the presentation of audit findings and a closed-door strategy session to align on future goals.

Concacaf Chief Football Development Officer Jason Roberts welcomed the appointment and echoed the significance of the panel’s work.

“The Concacaf Coaching Convention plays a vital role in driving the professionalization of coaching across our region, and gatherings like this Coach Education Panel Workshop are essential to that mission. We are proud to welcome a new cohort of panel members whose expertise will strengthen the development structures within our Member Associations.”

Panel members serve two-year terms and are selected based on the progress demonstrated by their respective Member Associations.

The 2025–2026 cycle reflects Concacaf’s ongoing commitment to empowering leaders, standardizing coach development, and ensuring high-quality learning pathways for coaches at all levels of the game throughout the region.
