Trinidad & Tobago are champions of the 2025 CG United Women’s Super50 Cup after a comprehensive seven-wicket win over Barbados in the final at Warner Park on Friday.

Just as she did during their round four encounter on Monday, Trinidadian captain Karishma Ramharack put Barbados in to bat after winning the toss.

Trinidad & Tobago won that game by five wickets after bowling Barbados out for 76 and chasing it down in 22 overs.

That occasion also saw all 10 Bajan wickets falling to spin. This time, however, things were slightly different.

Barbados’ batting, once again, fell woefully short, being bowled out for 71 in 29 overs, this time with seven of the 10 wickets falling to spin.

Asabi Callender led the batting effort with a fighting 28 off 64 balls while Trishan Holder was the only other batter in double figures with 15.

Anisa Mohammed was the pick of the Trinidadian bowling with 3-17 from her seven overs while skipper Ramharack took 2-12 from eight overs.

Samara Ramnath and medium pacer Amrita Ramtahal evenly split four wickets while conceding 20 runs and five runs, respectively, with the other wicket falling via the run-out route.

Trinidad & Tobago then used 23.2 overs to reach 75-3 and secure victory and the title.

Djenaba Joseph made 28 while Britney Cooper hit 17 to anchor the successful chase.

Shamilia Connell took 2-15 from 10 overs for the beaten finalists.

Ramharack was named player of the tournament.
