Antigua and Barbuda Men U19 team emerged victorious in the LICB Men U19 Tournament 2025 final, defeating hosts St Kitts by 33 runs at Warner Park Cricket Stadium on Sunday, April 20th.

After winning the toss and electing to field, St Kitts initially kept Antigua in check, but a spectacular unbeaten 51 from Jared Jno Baptiste propelled the visitors to a challenging total of 188 all out in 49.1 overs.

His innings with last man Ozan Williams (17) ensured a competitive score. Opening batsman Tanez Francis contributed 32 with debutant Vonde Bowers smashing a quick fire 28.

Kunal Tilokani was the pick of the St Kitts bowlers, finishing with impressive figures of three for 21 from his 10 overs. Caiden Francis also picked up two wickets for 29 runs.

In response, St Kitts faltered early, losing four wickets for just 35 runs.

However, Lawshorn Bergan (39) and Kunal Tilokani (21) staged a recovery with a crucial partnership that took the score to 110 before both departed within three runs of each other, St Kitts were eventually bowled out for 155 in 43 overs.

Mekaili Tongue was the top performer with the ball for Antigua, claiming remarkable figures of four for 12 in nine overs, including five maidens.

Captain Matthew Miller supported well with two for 41, while Francis chipped in with one for 22.

In the third-place playoff match at Conaree Cricket Ground, defending champions St Maarten Men U19 edged past Nevis by two wickets.

Nevis posted 154 all out in 40.2 overs batting first with Deshawn James scoring 36 and Lyte Browne remaining unbeaten on 27.

St Maarten chased down the target in 44.4 overs, thanks to T’yanick Honore’s 48 and Devanand Singh’s gritty 40 and a 52-run partnership between him and Chirag Aswani (58).
