World Indoor bronze medallist Raymond Richards continued his excellent start to this season with a third-place finish at the What Gravity Challenge held at the Katara Amphitheatre in Qatar on Friday.
The 24-year-old cleared 2.26m to claim the bronze medal behind Japan’s Ryoichi Akamatsu who also cleared 2.26m while South Korea’s Woo Sanghyeok produced 2.29m to take the win.
Ukrainian world record holder Yaroslava Mahuchikh took the women’s title with a world leading clearance of 2.20m while Australia’s Elanor Patterson and Ukraine’s Yulia Levchenko took silver and bronze with clearances of 1.96m and 1.94m, respectively.
