
Wolmer’s Girls sprinter Abigail Wolfe signs with Texas Longhorns

The Texas Longhorns track and field program has added more Jamaican talent through the form of sprinter Abigail Wolfe.
Wolfe, 18, joins the Longhorn family with personal bests of 7.64 in the 60m, 11.59 in the 100m and 23.91 in the 200m.
Wolfe was a gold medallist in the Class Two 100m at the 2023 ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Championships and was the National Under-18 champion that same year.
This year, she was fifth in the Class One 100m final at Champs and was a member of Jamaica’s gold medal-winning quartet in the Under-20 4x100m at the CARIFTA Games at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port-of-Spain.
She was also sixth in the U-20 100m final at the JAAA/Puma National Senior and Junior Championships at the National Stadium on June 27.
