
Jamaican Olympic champions Omar McLeod and Roje Stona and Commonwealth champion Lamara Distin were among the podium finishers at Monday’s FBK Games in Hengelo, the Netherlands.
McLeod, who claimed Olympic gold back in Rio in 2016, ran 13.42, just outside of his seasons best 13.38, to claim second in the Men’s 110m hurdles.
The race was won comfortably by in form American Cordell Tinch in 13.10 while Belgian Michael Obasuyi ran 13.45 in third.
Stona, who claimed gold at last year’s Paris Olympics, threw 67.19m for third in the Men’s Discus in his first competition since last September. 2019 World Championship silver medallist Fedrick Dacres was seventh with a best throw of 64.86m.
The event was won by Slovenia's Kristjan Ceh who threw 69.21m while Australian Matthew Denny was second with 67.64m.
In the field, 20222 Commonwealth Games gold medallist Lamara Distin took second in the Women’s High Jump.
Distin cleared 1.80m and 1.85m with no failures before needing two attempts to clear 1.90m which ended up being her best height after three failures at 1.93m.
Australia’s Nicole Olyslagers took the win with 1.97m while Sweden’s Engla Nilsson was third with 1.85m.
