According to reports from CVM Sports, reigning Olympic 100m silver medalist Kishane Thompson will compete at the World Indoor Championships set for March 21-23 in Nanjing, China.
Thompson made his indoor 60m debut back on January 25 at the Astana Indoor Meet in Kazakhstan where he produced times of 6.56 and 6.58 to win in the semi-finals and final, respectively.
This was after he opened his 2025 season with a swift 6.48 at the Central Hurdles, Relays and Field Events Meet at the GC Foster College on January 18.
Thompson burst onto the scene last season with a number of eye-catching performances including a personal best 9.77 to win his maiden Jamaican 100m title last June.
He will be among the favorites for a medal at these World Indoors as well as the World Outdoor Championships set for Tokyo later this year.
