CONCACAF Gold Cup
The Barbados Football Association (BFA) is happy to step in and host Guyana’s crucial CONCACAF Gold Cup qualifier in the upcoming round of matches. In the recent release of fixtures, CONCACAF announced that Guyana will face Guatemala on Friday March 21 at 9pm at the BFA's Technical Centre at Wildey, Barbados. The return leg will be at the Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City on Tuesday, March 25.

Jamaican Olympian and U.S. Collegiate Hall of Fame coach Inez Turner continued her winning legacy on Monday, guiding the Fayetteville State University (FSU) women’s team to another CIAA Indoor Track & Field Championship title at the JDL Fast Track. The Broncos secured their fifth title in six seasons, amassing 150 points to top Winston-Salem State (130 points) and Claflin University (90 points).

For the fourth time in the last five years, SL Horsfords St. Paul’s United won the SKNFA President’s Cup title, after defeating MFCR Old Road United Jets 2-0 on Sunday at Warner Park. After a tepid first half, St. Paul’s broke the deadlock early in the second half with a 55th minute goal from Jovaughn Leader and a goal from the penalty spot in the 75th minute from Kalonji Clarke.

The performance not only matched her outdoor personal best but also elevated her to third on Jamaica’s all-time indoor 200m list, behind Merlene Ottey (21.87) and Veronica Campbell-Brown (22.38).
