Last week Monday's disaster at Sabina Park was not just another bad day at the office for West Indies cricket—it was a soul-crushing, system-shaking indictment of where the sport currently stands in the region. Bowled out for just 27 on the third day of the third Test against Australia, the West Indies recorded the second-lowest score in the history of Test cricket. Only New Zealand’s 26 against England in 1955 was worse, and that’s hardly consolation.
